Nine new weapons, one for every profession, are expected to be made available with the second major release after launch. Guardian: Pistol (main and off hand) Revenant: Scepter (main hand) Warrior: Staff. Engineer: Short bow. Ranger: Mace (main and off hand) Thief: Axe (main hand. Elementalist: Pistol (main hand)
More info; As the chestplate has the "armour" of the leggings for parity with other medium armours, the sanctified leggings for medium classes are exclusively the shorts. You are paying 375aa for booty shorts, which in my opinion is far too cheap. 42. DuncanConnell. • 2 mo. ago.
Cross-class utility is a lot less important. GladiusNocturno. Not really the most commonly used on all meta builds, but staff is the weapon available to most proffessions. The only proffessions that cant use it are warrior and Engineer. Symmol. Actually Sword is the most available weapon, only Necro can't use it.
For your second question, GW2’s PvP is incredibly accessible. You’re able to start PvPing with a level 2 character (i.e. immediately after finishing the tutorial). There’s an option to teleport to the PvP lobby from virtually anywhere. Almost everything is immediately unlocked, which is why people give advice to go to the PvP lobby to try Warrior skills and traits have always been all over the place, and due to that lack of focus, the class sucked on important aspects. Anet is trying to change that now, but Warrior will always feel simplistic because we won't have a tree of options as well-thought and open to options as Revenant, for example. On the dps side, it's actuallt very well balanced, when a class is broken it has like 5-10% more dps. On the other hand, hp, utilities, support or whatever is not considered. Ele has lowest hp pool and not a once of utility on his kit, so it's useless on end game pve. 0. Aetheldrake • 1 yr. ago.
Just for the record. It's not an extra minute on the golem. It takes a 1:40 standard golem duration to close to 7 minutes. For that reason, it is a benchmarking standard to bench builds with < 20k DPS at a 1 million golem, because those builds are a rotation showcase, not a DPS showcase. Besides, while having a 2 minute showcase is somewhat
The easiest beginner classes are warrior, ranger and necromancer. Choose the one that resonates with you the most. With that being said, each class is unique and has it's own pros and cons. Dont be afraid to choose a class that isn't "easy" and just go with what feels right to you. Every class is enjoyable to play. Try them out and ask questions
As for Ranger as a starter class, the pet can make exploring the world on your first character pretty fun. Ranger also has one of the strongest downstates in the game, making it very forgiving if you die. I recommend it as a very good beginner class that is still top-tier once you reach endgame. Engineer. 3 power builds: Scrapper, Holosmith, Mechanist. All 3 can share the same gear except for the weapons. 2 condition builds: condi mech and condi holo if you wanna play the piano. 2 offensive support builds: power alac mech and power quick scrapper. Can share the same gear with a few trinket adjustments.
Bladesworn is fun and definitely good. 2nd best dps build after vindicator imo and for speedruns it might be the best. As an alternative there is also spellbreaker which is much easier in terms of doing mediocre and still getting somewhat close to max dmg. I also think spellbreaker is really fun.
I went into Guild Wars 2 nearly 100% set on a Sylvari Necromancer. I'd get to keep the nature and life vibe I got from my night elf druid, and then also keep the demon summoning drain-tanker feel from my warlock. The transition wasn't smoothe, however. Guild Wars 2 minions have some mannerisms that make them less appealing to me. /r/GuildWars2 is the primary community for Guild Wars 2 on Reddit. are the classes that have any sort of significant outgoing healing. aside: since each has a

Pick the class that you feel with your gut feeling is kind of your "default", the one you think is coolest at a very shallow and aesthetic level. Then play that class. When your brain tries to give you intrusive thoughts about other classes or if you made the wrong decision, just ignore it.
